Pinpoint Test F : DTC U1000:00

  1. F1 REVIEW THE DTCs

    • Review the DTCs from the BCM self-test.

    Are any other DTCs present besides U1000:00 or U3000:49? 

    Yes  DIAGNOSE the fault causing the DTCs other than U1000:00 and U3000:49. REFER to the BCM DTC Chart . After the repair, GO to  F2.
    No  GO to  F2.

  2. F2 REPEAT THE BCM SELF-TEST

    • Ignition ON.
    • Using a scan tool, clear the DTCs. Repeat the BCM self-test.

    Is DTC U3000:49 present? 

    Yes  INSTALL a new BCM. REFER to Body Control Module (BCM) .
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The circuit short has been repaired.
