The courtesy lamps flash on and off	The Body Control Module (BCM) is not configured correctly.	CONFIGURE the BCM. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
The illuminated entry/exit feature is inoperative	Dark car feature enabled	Using a scan tool, DISABLE the dark car feature. TEST the system for normal operation.
The courtesy lamps do not illuminate with a door open	Wiring, terminals or connectors Door ajar switch BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
The courtesy lamps do not illuminate from the instrument panel dimmer switch	Wiring, terminals or connectors Instrument panel dimmer switch Steering Column Control Module (SCCM)	GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
One or more interior courtesy lamp is inoperative	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors Interior lamp BCM	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
One or more running board lamp is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors Running board lamp BCM	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
The cargo lamp is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors High mounted stoplamp	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
All the courtesy lamps stay on continuously	Wiring, terminals or connectors Door ajar switch BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST F .
The interior courtesy lamps stay on continuously	Wiring, terminals or connectors BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST G .
The running board lamps stay on continuously	Wiring, terminals or connectors BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
One or more demand lamp is inoperative	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors Interior lamp BCM	VERIFY the bulb(s) is OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST I .
The battery saver does not deactivate after time-out	Wiring, terminals or connectors BCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST J .
