Pinpoint Test E: DTC U1000:00

- E1 REVIEW THE DTCs
- Review the DTCs from the BCM self-test.
- Are any other DTCs present, besides U1000:00 or U3000:49?
- Yes : REFER to the Body Control Module (BCM) DTC chart .
- No : GO to E2.
- E2 REPEAT THE BCM SELF-TEST
- Ignition ON.
- Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: BCM Self-Test.
- Clear the DTCs and repeat the BCM self-test.
- Is DTC U3000:49 present?
- Yes : INSTALL a new BCM. REFER to Body Control Module (BCM) . TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : The system is operating correctly at this time. The circuit short has been repaired.
