Transmission Control Module (TCM): Installation

NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of corrosion and foreign material.

NOTE: Make sure to install new O-rings.

Material : Motorcraft® Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid/XT-11-QDC (WSS-M2C200-D2)
NOTE: Make sure that the terminals or pins/sockets of the transmission control module (TCM) and the TCM electrical connector are not bent or damaged.

Torque : 20 lb.ft (27 Nm)
1. 2. Torque : 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
Torque : 115 lb.in (13 Nm)
1. Torque : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
2. Torque : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: New units must be configured using the Programmable Modules Installation Routine in the diagnostic tool.

Upload the module information from the diagnostic tool to the module using the Programmable Modules Installation routine.
