Body Control Module (BCM)

The BCM  controls the operation of the power door locks and the RKE  system. The BCM  receives direct input from the liftgate/luggage compartment lid release switch and the door lock control switch. It has an internal antenna for receiving the signals from the RKE  transmitters. Depending upon the input received and if conditions allow, the BCM  either locks/unlocks the doors or releases the liftgate/luggage compartment lid.
