Exterior Liftgate/Luggage Compartment Lid Release Switch

The exterior liftgate/luggage compartment lid release switch is a momentary contact switch that receives a voltage signal from the BCM  on the input circuit. When the button is pressed, the input circuit is routed to ground, signaling the BCM  to release the liftgate/luggage compartment lid latch. The release switch only operates when the doors are unlocked electronically.
