Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Removal

NOTE: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) installation DOES NOT require new keys or programming of keys, only a Parameter Reset of the PATS .

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Retrieve the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration retrieval steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure.

Use the General Equipment: Ford Diagnostic Equipment
Remove the LH inner fender splash shield.
Refer to: FENDER SPLASH SHIELD .
Torque : 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
