DACMC - HEV

The DACMC  can be operated with the ignition in RUN or ACC. The DACMC  receives engine noise data and active noise control microphone signals from the passenger compartment. The DACMC  filters out the engine noise within the passenger compartment. The DACMC  requires Programmable Module Installation (PMI  ) when it is replaced.

For vehicles with active noise control, the audio DSP  module receives audio signals from the ACM  and the opposing output frequency signal from the DACMC  to eliminate some of the low frequency engine noise. The audio DSP  module provides the enhanced audio signals to the speakers.
