Body Control Module B (BCM-B): Removal

NOTE: Prior to the removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a scan tool. This information must be downloaded into the new Body Control Module B (BCM-B) after installation. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  1. NOTE: If the BCM-B is being replaced, follow this step. If the BCM-B is not being replaced, go to Step 2.

    Upload the module configuration information from the BCM-B into the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .

  2. From the right side of the luggage compartment, remove the pushpin and position aside the RH luggage compartment trim cover.
  3. Remove the BCM-B bracket assembly nuts and position the assembly for access to the BCM-B.
    • Vehicle with navigation remove 4 nuts.
    • Vehicle without navigation remove 3 nuts.
  4. Disconnect the 2 BCM-B electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the 2 nuts and the BCM-B.
