Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA)
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA) system is controlled by the BCM and is activated when the BCM receives a brake pedal applied input. When the solenoid is energized, the plunger is pulled inward allowing the selector lever to move from the park position.

- Brake Shift Interlock Actuator (BSIA) solenoid
- BCM
