Diagnostic Aids

During the ignition cycle the DTC sets the following occurs: steering assist is reduced to a default setting, the PSCM transmits an invalid steering angle message over the HS-CAN and the PSCM also sends a message to the IPC to display the SERVICE POWER STEERING in the message center. During the next ignition cycle after the DTC sets the following occurs: the PSCM removes steering assist and enters into a manual mode, the module transmits an invalid steering angle message over the HS-CAN and the module also sends a message to the IPC to display the SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW in the message center.
