DTC U2011: Motor: Description

The PSCM carries out a self-test of the motor inside the EPAS gear during vehicle start up and monitors the motor during normal driving conditions with voltage at the PSCM greater than 9 volts.

• DTC U2011:49 (Motor: Internal Electronic Failure) - If motor voltage output falls below or exceeds a predetermined threshold, DTC U2011:49 is set.
• DTC U2011:61 (Motor: Signal Calculation Failure) - If the integrity of the motor torque estimate or motor velocity signal exceeds or does not meet a calculated value, DTC U2011:61 is set.
