DTC U3002: Vehicle Identification Number: Description

The VIN is stored to the PSCM from the as-built data sent by the IPC over the HS-CAN during the end of line configuration process. At each ignition cycle the IPC reads the stored VIN in the PSCM and compares it to the VIN stored in the as-built data.

• DTC U3002:62 (Vehicle Identification Number: Signal Compare Failure) - If the PSCM detects a mismatch between the stored and learned vehicle identification numbers in the PSCM, DTC U3002:62 is set.
