DTC U0126: Lost Communication With Steering Angle Sensor Module: Description

The PSCM monitors the HS-CAN messages when the ignition has been on for more than 5 seconds, the voltage to the PSCM is greater than 9 volts and there are no DTCs present inhibiting PSCM operation. The SASM is attached to the SCCM and sends steering angle information directly to the SCCM. The SCCM then sends the information as messages to the PSCM over the HS-CAN.

• DTC U0126:00 (Lost Communication With the Steering Angle Sensor Module: No Sub Type Information) - This DTC sets if communication between the PSCM and the SCCM fails. The SCCM sends a steering angle message to the PSCM. If this message is missing for more than the allotted amount of time, the PSCM sets DTC U0126:00.
