DTC U019B: Lost Communication with Battery Charger Control Module: Description

The BCCM is integrated into the BCM.

The PSCM monitors the HS-CAN messages when the ignition has been on for more than 5 seconds, the voltage to the PSCM is greater than 6.5 volts and there are no DTCs present inhibiting PSCM operation.

DTC U019B:00 (Lost Communication with Battery Charger Control Module: No Sub Type Information) - This DTC sets if the messages from the BCCM are missing for more than 5 seconds and the PSCM has not set DTC U0001:88. The BCCM sends battery and charging status messages to the PSCM.
