Pinpoint Test J : The A/C (Air Conditioning) Is Inoperative: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

Refer to A/C Request. REFER to: Climate Control System - Vehicles With: Electronic Manual Temperature Control (EMTC) - System Operation and Component Description 

Possible Sources 

• Fuses
• Wiring, terminals or connectors
• A/C system discharged or low refrigerant charge
• Evaporator temperature sensor
• A/C pressure transducer
• Intake Air Temperature (IAT) or other temperature sensors
• A/C compressor clutch air gap
• A/C compressor
• A/C clutch relay
• HVAC control module
• PCM

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks 

• Inspect for loose or corroded PCM and A/C clutch relay connection.
• Make sure BJB fuse 27 (15A) is OK.
