Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The purpose of the engine run status circuit input to the BCM is to ensure that equipment that can be powered only with engine running and prevent battery drain when the engine is off.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B10B2:12 Engine Running Relay: Circuit Short To Battery A continuous and on-demand DTC that sets in the BCM if the BCM detects battery voltage on the engine run status circuit.
