P02EC - DIESEL INTAKE AIRFLOW CONTROL SYSTEM - HIGH AIR FLOW DETECTED - DTC CHART

Description: This DTC sets when the desired mass airflow versus the actual mass airflow measured from the mass airflow (MAF) sensor is outside a calibrated limit.
Possible Causes: Aftermarket intake air system Aftermarket exhaust system Intake air system restriction Exhaust system restriction Turbocharger system concern Damaged intake throttle actuator Damaged mass airflow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor
Diagnostic Aids: The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument cluster message center. Diagnose all other powertrain related DTCs first.
