Trailer Module (TRM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the TRM following the on-screen instructions.

Release the clips and remove the middle B-pillar trim panel.

Release the clips and remove the lower B-pillar trim panel

- Remove the 3 footwell trim panel screw covers and 3 screws.
- Remove the footwell trim panel.

- Disconnect the 3 trailer module electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 trailer module nuts and the trailer module.
  Torque: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)
