Receiver Drier Element: Removal

  1. 1.

    With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

  1. 2.

    Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .

  1. 3.

    Remove the push pins, retainers and the underbody shield.

    Torque:

    1: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

    2: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

  1. 4.

    Remove the receiver drier plug and the receiver drier element.

    Torque: 16 lb.ft (22 Nm)
