DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| B10EA:12 | Positive Temperature Coefficient Heater: Circuit Short To Battery | This DTC sets when the BCM detects a short to voltage on the electric booster heater control circuit. |
| B10EA:14 | Positive Temperature Coefficient Heater: Circuit Short To Ground Or Open | This DTC sets when the BCM detects a short to ground or an open on the electric booster heater control circuit. |
| B1322:17 | Auxiliary Heater Switch: Circuit Voltage Above Threshold | This DTC sets when the BCM detects a short to voltage on the front heater control circuit. |
Possible Sources
- Fuses
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Electric booster heater
- BCM
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Make sure high current BJB fuse 6 (80A) is OK.
- Make sure AJB fuse 23 (7.5A) is OK.
- Make sure operating conditions for the operation of the electric booster heater are met. REFER to: Supplemental Climate Control - System Operation and Component Description
