Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- 1.
Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
- 2.
- Disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wiring retainers.
- Remove and discard the stabilizer bar link nut. Position the wheel speed sensor wiring and bracket aside.
Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)
NOTE: Use the hex-holding feature to prevent the ball stud from turning while removing or installing the stabilizer bar link nut.
- 3.NOTE: Make sure that the sensor housing area is clean and free of foreign material before the sensor is removed.
Using compressed air, clean the sensor housing area.
