DTC U0428: Invalid Data Received From Steering Angle Sensor Module

| 81 | This DTC sets if the ABS module receives "no data exists" or "faulty" in the active steering messages. RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all SASM DTCs. If no DTCs set in the SASM, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all SASM electrical connectors and related in-line electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary. |
| 82 | This DTC sets if the active steering rolling counter is incorrect. RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all SASM DTCs. If no DTCs set in the SASM, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern.
