DTC U0557: Invalid Data Received From Front Controls Interface Module "A": Action

This DTC sets if the auto hold switch status message from the FCIM (front controls interface module) contains "invalid" or "faulted" instead of the actual switch state. RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all FCIM DTCs. REFER to the INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - VEHICLES WITH: AM/FM/CD/SYNC , INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - VEHICLES WITH: TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY or INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - VEHICLES WITH: SONY AUDIO SYSTEM . If no DTCs set in the FCIM, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all FCIM electrical connectors and related in-line connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
