Push Button Ignition Switch

The push button ignition switch is a momentary dual contact switch that is hardwired to the BCM and the PCM.

Both sets of contacts are normally open and receive voltage at all times. When the push button ignition switch is pressed, one set of contacts supplies voltage to the BCM only. The second set of contacts supply voltage to the BCM, RFA module and the PCM.

The push button ignition switch has a LED that is used for switch illumination.
