| Brake precharge request | PCM | This message informs the ABS module either the adaptive cruise control or the collision avoidance system requires the brake hydraulic system to be pressurized in anticipation of a severe braking event. |
| Clutch pedal position | PCM | This message informs the ABS module the driver has pressed the clutch pedal. This message is used by the ABS module for the hill start assist system. |
| Cruise control status | PCM | This message informs the ABS module of the current status of the cruise control system; off, denied, standby denied, standby, active que assist or active. |
| Deceleration request | CCM | This message is used to request vehicle deceleration by the ABS module for either the adaptive cruise control system or the collision avoidance system. |
| Drive module switch | GFM2 | This message informs the ABS module of the current, driver selected vehicle mode; Normal, Sport, Track or Drift. The ABS module adjusts the thresholds for anti-lock braking and stability control system intervention depending on the drive mode selected. |
| Drive wheel torque | PCM | This message provides the ABS module with the current amount of torque being output to the drive wheels. This information is used for traction control and ESC operation. |
| Driver request traction control mode | BCM | This message informs the ABS module the driver has deactivated the traction control system. |
| Door ajar | BCM | This message informs the ABS module of a change in door (driver or passenger, front or back), hood or liftgate status; closed or ajar. The ABS module modifies stability control calculations based on vehicle occupancy. |
| Engine output torque | PCM | This message provides the ABS module with the current amount of torque being output from the engine. This information is used for traction control and ESC operation. |
| Engine RPM | PCM | This message provides the ABS module with the current engine RPM. This information is used for traction control and ESC operation. This information is used for the hill start assist system. |
| Ignition key type | BCM | This message informs the ABS module of the type of ignition key being used; standard, MyKey®, read failure, key unknown or key invalid. The ABS module adjusts traction control operation if a restricted MyKey® is used. |
| Hill start assist neutral | PCM | This message informs the ABS module if the transmission is in NEUTRAL or not in NEUTRAL. The hill start assist system does not operate when the transmission is in NEUTRAL. |
| Hill start assist status | BCM | This message provides the ABS module with the current driver selected hill start assist setting; Off, Auto or Manual. |
| Odometer value | BCM | This message provides the ABS module with the odometer value in kilometers. |
| Parking brake status | BCM | This message provides the ABS module with the current parking brake status; activated or not activated. This information is used for the hill start assist system. |
| Power mode | BCM | This message provides the ABS module with the current vehicle power mode; key out, key recently out, key approved, post accessory, accessory, post ignition, ignition ON, running or cranking. |
| Power pack status | PCM | This message provides the ABS module with the current engine status; init, awake, ready, prestarting, start in progress, running, running_start in progress, running_remote started and after run. |
| Power steering mode | PSCM | This message informs the ABS module of the current driver selected power steering mode; Normal, Sport or Comfort. The ABS module adjusts the thresholds for anti-lock braking and stability control system intervention depending on the drive mode selected. |
| RCM serial number | RCM | The ABS module stores the RCM serial number and verifies the serial number when the vehicle is started or the ignition is set to RUN or ACC. Over time, the ABS module learns the offset of the stability sensors inside the RCM. When a new serial number is found and the IVD Initialization procedure is carried out using a diagnostic scan tool, the ABS module resets the offset number learned for ESC. |
| Reverse gear status | PCM (manual transmission only) | This message informs the ABS module when the transmission is in reverse gear, this is used for the hill start assist system and the ESC system. The hill start assist system works in forward and reverse gears. The ESC system does not operate when the transmission is in REVERSE. |
| Selector lever (PRNDL) status | TCM (automatic transmission only) | This message informs the ABS module when the transmission is in reverse gear, this is used for the hill start assist system and the ESC system. The hill start assist system works in forward and reverse gears. The ESC system does not operate when the transmission is in REVERSE. |
| Steering angle information | SASM | The ABS module receives several steering angle messages (steering angle sensor status, angle counter, velocity, rotation direction, angle from center and number of rotation) and uses these messages for operation of the ESC. |
