Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
When the ignition is turned on, the auto-start-stop system is automatically enabled and the indicator should be off. If the auto-start-stop system detects a malfunction, it is disabled, and the OFF lamp on the switch illuminates continuously. All other BCM and PCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) should be repaired first. The auto-start-stop status indicator and auto-start-stop disable switch are part of the active park assist switch assembly.
