Check

Follow the health and safety precautions. REFER to: Health and Safety Precautions .
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
If equipped. Remove the retainers and the underbody shield.

Remove the PTU (Power Transfer Unit) fill plug.

Fill the PTU with clean fluid, level with the fill plug opening.

Install the PTU fill plug.
Torque

: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)
