Vehicles Without Push Button Start

When the liftgate release switch is pressed, the BCM sends a message to the RGTM, which opens or stops the motion of the liftgate. The doors must be electronically unlocked before the BCM sends the message to the RGTM.

Any subsequent presses of the switch stops the motion or reverses direction.
