RGTM Network Input Messages

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Central lock status BCM Used by the RGTM to inhibit power liftgate operation when the liftgate release switch is activated unless the doors have been previously electronically unlocked.
Selector lever (PRNDL) status BCM Used by the RGTM to inhibit power liftgate operation if the transmission is not in PARK.
Power liftgate request BCM Used by the RGTM to either open or close the power liftgate (on vehicles that have the power liftgate switch as part of the headlamp switch) or to inhibit power liftgate operation when the liftgate release switch is activated unless the doors have been previously unlocked electronically.
Passive liftgate request RFA module Used by the RGTM to either open or close the power liftgate. The RFA module sends this message to the RGTM when there is a liftgate RKE or passive key request.
Passive entry central lock command RFA module Used by the RGTM to inhibit power liftgate operation when the liftgate release switch is activated unless the doors have been previously electronically unlocked.
