Differential Fluid Level Check

Check
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the retainers and the air deflector.
- Remove the filler plug.
- If empty, fill the rear axle with 0.54L (1.15pt) of rear axle lubricant. If fluid level is low, fill to 3-5 mm (0.118-0.196 in) below the bottom of the filler hole and install the filler plug.

Torque:
Stage 1: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
Stage 2: 180 °
- Install the air deflector and retainers.
- Lower the vehicle. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
