Occupant Classification System Module (OCSM)

DTC Description Action
B00A0:62 Occupant Classification System: Signal Compare Failure DIAGNOSE and REPAIR all other OCSM and RCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
B00C0:11 Passenger Seat Occupant Classification Sensor "A": Circuit Short to Ground INSPECT the OCS for any damage and for correct installation.
If damage is found, REPAIR the root cause of the damage and INSTALL a new OCS, as necessary. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
If any installation concerns are found, CORRECT the OCS installation, referring to the OCS Removal and Installation procedure as needed to make sure the sensor hose is free from kinks and correctly routed. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
If no damage or installation concerns are found, INSTALL a new OCS. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
B00C0:12 Passenger Seat Occupant Classification Sensor "A": Circuit Short to Battery INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
B00C0:16 Passenger Seat Occupant Classification Sensor "A": Circuit Voltage Below Threshold INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
B00C0:49 Passenger Seat Occupant Classification Sensor "A": Internal Electronic Failure INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
B00C0:7B Passenger Seat Occupant Classification Sensor "A": Low Fluid Level VERIFY that the OCS is correctly installed. CORRECT any concerns found. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor . If no installation concerns are found, INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
B1193:00 Crash Event Storage Full and Locked: No Sub Type Information CLEAR the OCSM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1193:00 returns, INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor . Following the OCS replacement, REFER to: Inspection and Repair after a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Deployment .
U0100:00 Lost Communication with ECM/PCM A: No Sub Type Information
NOTE: This DTC sets in a module that is reporting a communication fault from another module on the data bus. The module that reports the fault is not the problem module. Do not install a new OCSM as part of the repair unless directed to do so in the pinpoint test.
REFER to: Pinpoint Test - DTC: QQ .
U0151:00 Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module: No Sub Type Information
NOTE: This DTC sets in a module that is reporting a communication fault from another module on the data bus. The module that reports the fault is not the problem module. Do not install a new OCSM as part of the repair unless directed to do so in the pinpoint test.
REFER to: Pinpoint Test - DTC: HH .
U024C:00 Lost Communication with Seat Control Module "H": No Sub Type Information DIAGNOSE and REPAIR all other OCSM and RCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
U0401:00 Invalid Data Received from ECM/PCM A: No Sub Type Information
NOTE: This DTC sets in a module that is reporting a missing or invalid message from another module on the data bus. The module that reports the fault is not the problem module. Do not install a new OCSM as part of the repair unless directed to do so in a pinpoint test.
CARRY OUT the PCM self-test. To diagnose PCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), Refer to the appropriate Engine article for the procedure. If the DTC is not listed in the service information, Refer to Engine Controls - Introduction (Except Diesel & Hybrid) .
U3000:41 Control Module: General Checksum Failure INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
U3000:42 Control Module: General Memory Failure INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
U3000:46 Control Module: Calibration / Parameter Memory Failure INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
U3000:54 Control Module: Missing Calibration Using a diagnostic scan tool, CARRY OUT the OCS Reset. FOLLOW all instructions on the diagnostic scan tool. If the OCS Reset was not successful, VERIFY correct installation of the OCS. VERIFY the pressure sensor hose is correctly routed and CORRECT the installation as necessary. REPEAT the OCS Reset and REPEAT the self-test. If the OCS Reset fails or DTC U3000:54 is still present, INSTALL a new OCS sensor. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor .
U3003:16 Battery Voltage: Circuit Voltage Below Threshold REFER to: Pinpoint Test - DTC: JJ .
U3003:17 Battery Voltage: Circuit Voltage Above Threshold REFER to: Pinpoint Test - DTC: JJ .
