Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The externally controlled variable displacement compressor is electronically controlled by the PCM. For additional information, refer to externally controlled variable displacement compressor. DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| P06A0 | Variable A/C Compressor Control Circuit | This DTC sets when the PCM senses greater than expected voltage on the sensor feedback circuit, indicating a short to voltage or an open circuit or an open sensor. |

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Inspect for loose or corroded PCM and A/C compressor connections.
- Make sure BJB fuse 97 (10A) is OK.
