DTC U0420: Invalid Data Received From PSCM (power steering control module)

| 00 | This DTC sets if the ABS module receives invalid steering wheel torque information. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all PSCM DTCs. REFER to Diagnosis and Testing in the POWER STEERING SYSTEM . If no PSCM DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all PSCM electrical connectors and related in-line connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary. |
| 41 | This DTC sets if the steering wheel angle sensor checksum is invalid. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all PSCM DTCs. REFER to Diagnosis and Testing in the POWER STEERING SYSTEM . If no PSCM DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF.
