High-Pressure Fuel Pump Drive Unit: Installation
NOTE:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Install the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit, then install and tighten the high-pressure fuel pump drive unit bolts.Torque:
Stage 1: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
Stage 2: 60 °
- 4.
Install the high-pressure fuel pump. Refer to: High-Pressure Fuel Pump .
- 5.
Install cowl extension, then install and tighten the cowl extension bolts.Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
- 6.
Install the strut tower cross brace, then install and tighten the strut tower cross brace bolts and the strut tower cross brace nuts.Torque:
Bolts : 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
Nuts : 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
- 7.
Install the cowl panel grille. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille .
- 9.
Connect both battery cables. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
