Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) Switch

Vehicles equipped with a manual transmission have a CPP switch. The CPP switch is a normally closed switch with the clutch pedal released. When the clutch pedal is pressed, an electrical signal from the CPP switch opens the circuit and signals the PCM to deactivate the cruise control system.
