EOT Sensor Rationality Test
The EOT sensor value is continuously compared to an inferred EOT value to determine whether the sensor reading is rational and appropriate for the current condition. If a discrepancy between the sensor value and the inferred value is observed, a P0196 DTC is set. In addition, the EOT value is checked during KOER self-test. An out of range sensor sets a P1184 DTC.
