Touchscreen Calibration

Activation

1.

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, refer to Health and Safety Precautions in General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

NOTE: Calibrate the touchscreen by following the diagnostic scan tool prompts, or the steps below.

Make sure the vehicle battery is fully charged in order to avoid an inoperative FDIM touchscreen.

3.

Press the FCIM audio power button to turn the audio system on.

4.

Operate the audio system in AM/ FM mode.

5.

Press and hold the EJECT button, and within 1 second, press and hold the SEEK UP button until the speaker walk-around test begins.

6.

Press and hold the SEEK DOWN button to enter the touchscreen calibration.

7.

Touch and hold the touch points as they appear on the FDIM (a stylus is not required).

8.

When the "New calibration settings have been measured. Press the Enter key to accept the new settings." message is displayed on the FDIM, touch anywhere on the touchscreen to accept the new settings.

9.

Clear all Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (CMDTCs).
