BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC	Description	Fault Trigger Conditions
B1D21:62	Remote Control Switch: Signal Compare Failure	A DTC that sets when the BCM detects the rolling counter received from a RKE transmitter is out of synchronization with the rolling counter stored in the module.

Possible Causes

RKE transmitter battery
RKE transmitter programming
RKE transmitter button pressed a substantial amount of times while outside the range of the vehicle
RKE transmitter
BCM

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks

Inspect the RKE transmitter for damage.
Check for aftermarket RKE transmitters.
