Heated Windshield Washer Jet

The windshield washer jet contains a heating element (similar to a rear window defroster) to warm the washer fluid within it to a temperature above freezing. Battery voltage is supplied to the windshield washer jets when the ignition is on. The purpose of the heated washer jets is to prevent washer fluid from freezing within the washer nozzles.
