HVAC Module

The EATC and DATC systems uses inputs from the Front Controls Interface Module B (FCIMB), FDIM and voice commands to provide the interface for the vehicle occupants to control the climate control system. The system uses a remote HVAC module that is separate from the control interface. When rear window defrost is selected, the Front Controls Interface Module B (FCIMB), FDIM or voice command communicates the selections through the CAN to the HVAC module to turn ON the defrost relay.

The HVAC module requires PMI when it is replaced.
