Cruise Control Module (CCM): Installation

CCM bracket 

  1. NOTE: Make sure to position the rear CCM bracket stud through the frame rail.

    Install the CCM bracket.

    1. Slide the CCM bracket up and right.
    2. Install the CCM bracket bolts.

      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  2. Install the CCM harness guides.

  3. Install the CCM bracket nut.

    Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    Cruise control module (CCM) 

    NOTE: The vertical and horizontal alignment procedures need to be carried out to align the sensor.
  4. NOTE: Firmly apply pressure to the CCM so that it seats completely in the grommets.

    Install the CCM on the ball studs and connect the electrical connector.

  5. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new CCM.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the CCM following the on-screen instructions.

  6. NOTE: Do not install the front bumper cover until the alignment procedures are carried out.

    Vertically and horizontally align the CCM. Refer to: Cruise Control Radar Alignment .

  7. Install the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
