DTC U0422: Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module

Action
This DTC sets if the ignition switch status message is invalid. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and REPAIR all BCM and GWM DTCs. REFER to Multifunction Electronic Modules article or Module Communications Network article as appropriate. If there are no DTCs in the BCM or GWM, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all BCM and GWM electrical connectors and related in-line connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
