All U0415:XX DTCs indicate a concern with the ABS or vehicle communications network. The module reporting this DTC is not the problem module. Do not install a new PSCM as part of the repair for any PSCM U0415:XX DTC.

When DTC U0415:29, U0415:81 or U0415:86 is set, the message center displays POWER STEERING ASSIST FAULT. The message displays at every ignition cycle until the concern is repaired and the DTC is cleared. If any of the above 3 faults exists for 10 consecutive ignition cycles, steering effort increases as the steering system enters "limp home" mode.
