DTC U0423 Invalid Data Received from Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module: Action

CARRY OUT a self-test of the IPC. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to appropriate Module Communications Network article to diagnose the network communication concern. If IPC DTCs are present, REFER to appropriate Instrumentation, Message Center and Warning Chimes article to diagnose the IPC system fault. If there are no DTCs in the IPC, SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all IPC electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
