DTC U053C Invalid Data Received from Image Processing Module B: Action

CARRY OUT a self-test of the IPMB. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to appropriate Module Communications Network article to diagnose the network communication concern. If IPMB DTCs are present, REFER to appropriate Rear View Mirrors article to diagnose the IPMB system fault. If there are no DTCs in the IPMB, SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all IPMB electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
