DTC U0554 Invalid Data Received from Accessory Protocol Interface Module: Action

CARRY OUT a self-test of the APIM. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to appropriate Module Communications Network article to diagnose the network communication concern. If APIM DTCs are present, REFER to the appropriate Information and Entertainment System article to diagnose the APIM system fault. If there are no DTCs in the APIM, SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all APIM electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
