DTC U0403 Invalid Data Received From Transfer Case Control Module: Action

CARRY OUT a self-test of the TCCM. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to appropriate Module Communications Network article to diagnose the network communication concern. If TCCM DTCs are present, REFER to appropriate Four-Wheel Drive Systems article. If there are no DTCs in the TCCM, SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all TCCM electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
