DTC U0553 Invalid Data Received from Lighting Control Module-Rear "B": Action

CARRY OUT a self-test of the RLCM-B. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to appropriate Module Communications Network article to diagnose the network communication concern. If RLCM-B DTCs are present, REFER to appropriate Lighting article to diagnose the RLCM-B system fault. If there are no DTCs in the RLCM-B, SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all RLCM-B electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
