DTC C100C: Steering Tracking: Description

During normal operation the PSCM continually monitors and adjusts the steering efforts based on torque sensor inputs to enhance steering feel. Adjustments are made based on torque sensor inputs to reduce the effect of pull or drift experienced when driving on roads with a high degree of camber or induced by outside influences. If the level of compensation required to keep the vehicle driving straight ahead exceeds a predetermined level a DTC is set.

DTC C100C:00 (Steering Tracking: No Sub Type Information) - If the torque required to hold the steering wheel in the straight ahead position exceeds a predetermined value, DTC C100C:00 sets in the PSCM.
